TD-W8961n WDS trouble
After some months of trying I successful build a WDS mode between two 8961N, but now i have a different problem. the WDS works perfectly but about 10 -30 min the main routers hangs and must be restarted
I had many pc with static IP and a DHCP for any wireless devices (phones, tablet, etc), Why does this happen?
The DHCP is enabled in the main router with a pool from 150 to 250
the static ip is below that range, so is not a up conflict
Please help

May I know how long have you had the 2*TD-W8961N?
Can I have more details when "the main routers hangs', no internet service or something else?
How many devices that you have for the whole network?
WDS bridging is not the first option for wireless extension and TD-W8961N is 2.4ghz only, which is easily affected by the wireless interference.
If possible, Trying to wire 2*TD-W8961N via Ethernet cable: one as the main router, the router as the access point will be more recommended.

The web Ui might look different and the instructions look almost the same.

@David-TP i had both routers about 3 or 4 months ago, The main router is connected to the internet as adsl modem. I used the second router as wds bridge because, my house is pretty big so the wi-fi range doesn´t cover all of it. When i said that hangs up is that even the wifi network disappears , cannot access the main router config page even with a pc connect with a cable, and obviously not internet access. Wiring the two routers is out of question because they are in separate rooms very far away and a cable had to be at least 20 to 30 m long just to wired them. I had right now 6 wired connections (3 per routers) and about 10 or 12 wireless device depending who is in the house. This includes phones, tablets , laptops, etc

Sorry for the delay and Thank you for the update.
Have you tried to swap the roles of these two TD-W8961Ns?
Then check whether it is always the main router hangs or it follows a specific TD-W8961N.
If the house is pretty large, have you ever considered updating to the Deco Whole Mesh system, like Deco M5/M9 plus for example:

Best regards.
