Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 0.4.0 0.9.1 v0070.0 Build 220126 RC.50521n

I have a router from the TP-Link VR400, the parental control feature has stopped after updating it ()
Is there a solution or update that fixes this problem?
Can I roll back the previous update
Please help because parental controls prevent me from connecting to the internet during the night or during school exams for my children

Welcome to the community.

The firmware 220126 could be reverted back to the latest version-20201104.

But since it is the latest version, normally we wish users to keep firmware up to date.

Would you mind telling me more details on how parental control stopped working and can I also have some pictures of your current configuration under parental control?

I have a Mac I want to block the Internet from 21:00 to 06:00
When I turn on the parental control it doesn't work - the internet keeps working

** Please help, this is an exam period for my children

You could backup the current configuration and factory reset modem, and update it again.

(Try downgrade the firmware before quick set up, so local update the firmware without internet service.)

You could try the suggestion of Heidi_Alp first.

And I see a similar feedback today-https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/550688

And if the firmware downgrade did not work, we could focus on the parental control issue first.

 

Previously. you mentioned that,

If you set up the parental control like the following, would it block the internet service on Mac：

1. Enable parental control and set effect time to be 21:00 to 06:00.

2. add the MacBook and choose "white lite", but do not add any keywords.
