Hi,

    I'm seeing frequent internet disconnect from my deco mesh lately that is really impacting my ability to use zoom conference. Can someone help?

My configuration:

From system log (got from the web interface), I saw a lot of dhcp server crash (SIGTERM) and recover that seems to be close to the internet disconnect points. Is this a known issue?

Welcome to the community.

Do you enable both IPV4 and IPV6 under Deco APP>More>Advanced?

--If yes, could you please disable IPV6 for a test.

 

May I know who is your internet service provider?

Have you noticed any Deco turned to flashing red during the disconnection?

  @Yong_Seattle Thanks for getting back.

. I'm  using centurylink fiber network. Their network setting is a bit odd, I need to enable VLAN and add a VLAD tag of ID 201 for internet traffic. shouldn't impact the intranet network though.

. I disabled the IpV4 but it doesn't seem to help. Still seeing internet disruption. disabled upnp as well but probably doesn't matter either way.

. Yes I saw the device turning read when the connection got interrupted. From the log it appears that udhcpc still got terminated somehow.

Thanks for the update.

Have you noticed the disconnection frequency of Deco within one day/week?

If possible, please check the IPV4 settings on the Deco APP>More>Advanced>IPV4 to see whether you could still get a valid IP address when the main M5 turned red?
