Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.5.0 0.9.1 v00a1.0 Build 220321 Rel.60385n

After upgrading to the latest firmware, I am getting over 10,000 errors on downstream a day, causing me to get booted from online games with latency reaching over 1000 i would imagine. Before I upgraded to this firmware it was fine.

Hi, nice to see you again.

Do you still remember the previous firmware version before 1.5.0? is it Archer VR400(EU)_V3_1.4.0_210917?

May I know who is your internet service provider? Do you know the specific DSLAM information from your ISP;

Would it be possible to send some screenshots of the DSL status page on the VR400 V3 to support.forum@tp-link.com(please add forum ID 560556)

After restarting the modem and the download error dropped, how long would it take to reach 10,000 again?

I restarted my router and within 2 hours already starting to get high downstream errors.

 

I tried the beta firmware found on this forum " Archer VR400(EU) V3-20211026 "

 

That fixed it for me 2 days with 0 down stream errors.

 

I attach picture of my dslstat showing after just 2 hours a high downstream errors starting, that is with version (1.5.0)

 

Also if I leave the router for more than a day the downstream errors would creep over 10,000. Im just showing what its like after about 2 hours up time, I find once its started to give errors then every few mins it will give me couple hundred more errors on downstream.

Thanks for the update and sorry for the delay

I have checked with the engineers the latest official firmware for Archer VR400 V3-1.5.0 has not improved the downstream error issue that was fixed by the beta firmware.
