Model: Archer C64
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.10.0 Build 210716 Rel.51301n(4555)

I am trying to open a port with an ipv6 address, to host a kodi server, yet the port forwarding option does not seem to allow ipv6 addresses.

I also tried looking for an ipv6 firewall option in the settings, and trust me, i looked well, but none was found. What can I do in this situation?

  @TheCate

Hi,

Apparently, at present all TP-Link routers that support IPv6 have the IPv6 firewall enabled by default, without any provisions to either configure it (open ports) or to disable it completely.

  @woozle

Ok, I herewith revoke the "all" from my previous post.

At least the Archer MR600 V3 seems to support configuation of the IPv6 firewall. (see attached screenshot)

I wonder which other models support this yet?

Check this post - that's from a thread discussing that matter.

As woozle mentioned, Archer C64 doesn't have this functionality yet.

Although, Archer C64 has a new FW release (v1.11.0), which allows you to use port forwarding ranges (IPv4) - here.
