Model: Deco M4
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 1,5,4

Does anyone know how to increase wifi speeds on the deco M4?  Currently we have fiber optic internet with a download speed of 1.06GB and an upload speed of 900Mbps.  Due to our house we have quite a few dead zones especially in the basement.  When connect to the deco systems in the basement or top floor we can only archive a download speed of 30Mbps, that is including systems that are using an Ethernet connection from the Deco systems.  I have bought new cables which can allow for gigabit speeds, I have also changed the Qos on the Deco apps to reflect our wifi speeds from our main modem but still has not changed the speeds.  Again does anyone know a solution to this issue?

Update: Deco 1 is located on the main floor which is connected to our main modem.  2 is upstairs in an office, and 3 is located in the basement.

Thank you!

The first thing to check is proper placement of Satellite Deco. They won't provide fast WiFi speeds if they have weak signal to Main Deco. To check that, in Deco app open Satellite Deco and in its information screen you will see Signal Source, similar to the following:

See what it says there. If signal is weak, you'll need to move that Satellite Deco closer to Main Deco.

Another thing is to align expectations. Main Deco M4 can probably deliver 400-500 Mbps in ideal conditions, and Satellite Deco M4 about half of that. When you can get 150 Mbps from Satellite Deco, call it a day: that's very much its top speed with your setup.

For anything faster you may need to get different type of Deco hardware.

Finally, it would help if you can tell what speeds are you getting when connected to Main Deco by WiFi.
