Test within Deco app gives me the full speed. (300Mbps)
Test with phones/other devices gives me full speed too. (300Mbps)
But the QoS settings is set to 100Mbps, that's why I said it's not working.
Before I think I mentioned QoS isn't working on any modes expect Gaming mode that apply the QoS speed correctly, now nothing works, all modes gives the same results.

Hi, nice to see you again.
Did you test the speed via the embedded "Test Internet speed" on the Deco APP?
Have you run a speed-test directly on the clients themselves?
I did not see you mentioned this issue before and did it just start recently?
Thank you very much and best regards.

Hi, You could start a feature request here:https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/2252
Personally speaking, I keep receiving firmware release requests on different models almost every day and the engineers are also asked to provide an update regularly in the community reports, though it didn't seem to speed up the process. Persistence will always make a difference and I still wish to get feedback every now and then.
Thank you very much and best regards.

I have a major problem with 1.6.1 firmware, QoS isn't working at all, to test this, I set the total bandwidth to 100Mbps Download and 50Mbps Upload, my full speed is 300Mbps/150Mbps D/U.
Even with the above settings I'm still getting the full speed 300Mbps instead of 100Mbps, I tried to restart the units, changes the modes, nothing works, QoS is completely not limiting the speeds as it should, I didn't have this problem before 1.6.1 and QoS is a major thing for me right now.
What should I do?

@David-TP getting the 1.7.x line of firmware for the M9+ would be awesome. The new IoT network option and ECO mode would be great our devices. Full details across in the m5 firmware thread. More info on IoT network here with absence of M9+ in supported devices list.
Is there any other ways we can help show demand for further firmware upgrades?

@David-TP I hoped that the update was an improvement but since I updated my Deco M9 Plus to the latest version I'm loosing connection to my bridged (Ziggo) Connect modem every few days. I have to restart the modem and my Deco's to get it working again.
I hoped that this update would bring some robustness in the Network but unfortunately it didn't.

@xQuantum They are still doing firmwares for the older model Deco M5, I don't think they will stop. Maybe they will get a pause (like they did the last couple of years). For now, I'll stay with my v1.5.1 until the problems are solved ![]()
Anyway, for my next mesh routers, I'll avoid TP-Link, too much few and risky updates: if they work, they work well, but if they don't, you're in big problems. Also I liked the form factor of M5 and M9, but now they are doing all the models "tower style", so no more difference with other brands.

Thanks for your reply David, I'll try to do this later.
Any news about upcoming updates for this device? Or 1.6.1 is officially the last firmware and it's the end of life for M9 Plus?
