I changed router the other day and when I wanted to change network I found on the range extender the app could no longer find it. I have now tried several times and tried different things with both the hardware and the software but nothing helps.

Some who knows what to do. The TP-Link extender is several years old.

To reinstall your range extender, perform a factory reset on the RE and reinstall it on Tether app or web UI as guide here

TP-Link Range Extender Setup (Range Extender Mode)

If you use Tether app to install RE, make sure device is on the Tether app compatibility list.

After reset the RE connect phone to Range Extender Wifi network and see if app could find the RE.
