I have tried several times to connect using both tether and WPS

 

Does my Sky router have wireless MAC filtering, wireless access control or ACL enabled?

 

when I have tried to connect using WPS it just eventually times out without connecting. 
 

has anybody managed to connect to a sky router?

  @Solla-topee all sorted.  I manually inputted the my routers password rather than rely on my phone to prepopulate it and that seems to have worked

There are 3 ways to set up your range extender, through Tether APP, web management of extender and WPS button, you could factory reset extender and tru tether or web page to  set up your range extender again as guide below:

[Troubleshooting] Has connected to TP-Link extender but no internet, what can I do?

May I know what is the error and how about the Led status on range extender if setup failed again?
