vn020-f3 can not connect with 2 laptops at the same time
Hey there,
(could not find my router's model in the list) I have vn020-f3 vdsl modem router, I have 5 devices (1 laptop 4 mobile phones) connected to router without any problem but when I try to connect my second laptop its not being connected until I disconnect the other laptop's connection. Anyone can help me with this problem please?

Have you set up a limited DHCP IP address pool, like only allowing 5 clients?
If not, Does it make any difference if the new device is connected to wifi or Ethernet cable?
Or will you get any error message when a new device failed to connect?
Thank you.
Best regards.

Hi David,
It doesn't matter how many devices are connected to the router, in fact, when I disconnect all devices and only want to connect 2 laptops, I still cannot connect with 2 laptops at the same time. I checked all the settings, reset the router, reinstalled it, but nothing changed. All my connections are via wifi. I'm starting to think there is something wrong with the router.

Hi, If you enable a mobile hotspot, are you able to connect these two laptops altogether to the hotspot?
By the way, May I know the model number as well as the operating system of these two laptops?
And would there be any error message when the 2nd laptop failed to connect to the router?
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

@David-TP
Hi David,
Yes, I am currently connecting my 2 devices via mobile hotspot. In other words, I connected my mobile phone to the router and connected my laptops to my phone. This way I don't have any problems.
I don't get any error when I try to connect. I just see a "failed to connect to network" message and cannot connect.
Laptop 1-
Monster Abra a5 V16.6.3
Laptop 2-
MSI gs65 stealth 8se
Thanks alot

Thanks for the feedback.
I searched for a while and there has been any feedback there two gaming laptops could not work with the same router.
Would these two gaming laptops work if one is connected to 2.4ghz, and the other is on 5Ghz?
By the way, since vn020-f3 is a customized model for the local internet service providers, its web UI and firmware are not the same as generic versions. Could you please also contact the internet service provider to see whether they might have set up any limitations on this modem?
Thank you very much.
Best regards.
