Hi

I am trying to work out how to access my powerline device on Linux (Linux Mint - i.e. Ubuntu-style). The desktop application is only for Windows and Mac but I assume there is some IP address/port combination I can use for this but I cannot seem to see the IP address. I couldn't find this info on the support page or user manual.

Thanks for some pointers.

Cheers,

Andrew

Hello  @anderigs

Thank you for reaching out.

I'm afraid Wired powerline kit like TL-PA7017 KIT does not have a web management as the Wi-Fi powerline adapter and can only be managed via tpPLC Utlity so far.

So you  need to borrow a Windows (Windows 7/8/8.1/10/11 ) or MAC computer to use the tpPLC Utility and manage the wired powerline unit or update firmware for it.

Hi

thanks for the really fast response. Ok, so I will have to return the box and look for something else.

No windows and definitely no mac in my house.

Thanks!
