It seems that the tp-link usb printer controller for Mac that we can download from here has stopped working with the new MacOS Ventura 13.0, it used to work fine with the previous version but now it is crashing, and I tried uninstalling and re-installing but it is still not working

Any plans to support the new MacOS Ventura 13.0 or any clues on how to make the current usb controller work on Ventura 13.0?

Thanks

Hi, there isn't a plan to support MacOS Ventura 13 on the USB printer controller.

katzorange, Does your internet support WiFi or Ethernet connection?

You could also try to connect the USB printer directly to the MacBook and install the printer manufacturer's control Utility.

Best regards.

  @David-TP Thank you for your reply. But why is there no plan to support support mac os 13 on usb printer controller?

My printer is pretty old, and does not support wifi :(

@David-TP

if TP-Link is not planning to support Ventura 13 then what about releasing the code as open source, perhaps we can find some developer out there who will be willing to update the code so that it works again?

What a huge disappointment... and what an incomprehensible decision by your company! I would like to remind you that we choose TP-Link rather than other cheaper brands precisely to avoid this kind of unpleasant surprises.
Can you please reconsider?

Thanks,

Joss

Wow!   Talk about false advertising. I just purchased an AXE95 and this is one of the features that I strongly desired and I'm on Ventura also.crazy stupid decision on tp-links part.

  @RMBones I suggested to them to release the code as open source and leave the community to support it, but I never got a reply from TP-Link, if they are not going to update it then they can just release to us the code !!

  @AymanRoshdy

I am not an English speaker, my English is approximate.

Firmware Version:

3.18.0 Build 20160201 Rel.42677n

Hardware Version:

ArcherC1900 v1

I have the same problem, I just switched my MAC to Ventura and surprise the network printer does not work.
It is very surprising that TP-LINK does not make any effort to correct this problem or transmit the source. It is contrary to a spirit of environmental responsibility, for a very useful feature, we refuse support to users who are loyal to TP-LINK products. Is this the orientation favored by the company? I hope that this comment will have a follow-up by and for Internet users.
THANKS
