Model: Archer AX72
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.2 Build 20220520 rel.75663(4555)

Hi,

I have 3 TL-WPA8631P devices in a Onemesh network connected to the router (AX72).  Usually, on the router  Network Map page it shows "Mesh Devices 3".  But after a day or two it only shows 2, or 1 devices.

The only way I have been able to restore the full number is to reboot the  missing TL-WPA8631P device/s.  The mesh network is still fully operational even when it shows an incorrect number of devices.  Until I have re-booted the device I cannot see the TL-WPA8631P in the list and I can't list the connected devices in Advanced>Onemesh page of the router.

Is this merely a bug in the AX72 or is it more to do with the TL-WPA8631Ps themselves?  It is tedious having to reboot them every couple of days.

The wi-fi network is still working on all three, but something does not appear to be functioning correctly.

Has anyone else been bugged by this issue?

The TL-WPA8631P hardware version is 3.0 and the firmware version is 3.0.1 Build 20220330 Rel.52768 - on all devices.

@SteveDr

Is there any specific WPA8631P extender disappearing from the Mesh Devices? Or all three will disappear randomly?

How many powerline adapters and extenders are in the network? Are there any switches also?

Can you draw us a detailed network layout, which could make the situation clearer?

@Liverpool20

Hi Thanks for your reply.  There are three TL-WPA8631P powerline access points all connected via a TL-PA8010P master unit, which in turn is connected via Ethernet  to the router.

It is all three, and there seems to be no pattern, but randomly one or more will drop out.  Rebooting the router has no effect, but rebooting the affected TL-WPA8631P adapter will restore it to the OneMesh list.
