IoT Network 

It is an individual network apart from the main/guest network, designed for only connecting IoT devices. It has 2G/5G capability, 6G is not available on IoT networks because most IoT devices don’t support 6GHz wireless yet.

  @David-TP  That is not true; you should check your sources.  I have had a pre-order with Amazon since January and stock notifications for Best Buy up since that has never triggered.  Also, the best indicator that there were never even sold is the fact EBay does not have one ever sold.  That will be the first place the person who is lucky enough to ever get their hands on one will go to sell for twice what they paid.  Best Buy has now changed their stated release date for their product to May 1st (you can check this from your own product buy link).

When is the product going to be released in the UK?  It was supposed to be early 2023 and now we are in May.  On the UK website it said coming soon for quite some time now.

  @David-TP Why are there apparently differences in the specs between the Deco BE85 in North America (NA) vs. Europe?

NA: On the US site the Deco BE85 is listed with: 5 GHz: 8640 Mbps (802.11be)

EMEA: On the NL site the Deco BE85 is listed with: 5 GHz: 5760 Mbps (802.11be)

Therefore the version in EMEA is also listed as BE19000 while it shows BE22000 for NA.

Why has the EMEA version a lower rate for 5 GHz in EMEA than in NA?

 

While we are at bandwidth, why does the top model BE95 only support 802.11ax on 2.4 GHz when the BE85 model supports 802.11be on all bands including 2.4 GHz? This also means the speed is lower on the higher model:

BE95: 2.4 GHz: 1148 Mbps (802.11ax)

BE85: 2.4 GHz: 1376 Mbps (802.11be)

Is there a specific reason for the lower speed specs on the higher model? What are then the benifits of the top-model (BE95) compared to BE85, apart from a second 6 GHz channel?
