I bought the deco x50 a few days ago and V1.2 has arrived and they are very unhappy that the same model but in  V1 it has much more features than V1.2.

 

Will all these features be added to V1.2 or better to return the product and look for another one that your manufacturer treats all versions of your model equally?

 

 

Another question, will the Alexa skill be available at some point in Spain?

Hi, welcome to the community.

Deco X50 V1.2 is planned to support the same features but it is unclear when the related firmware is finally released.

If you just purchased the Deco X50 V1.2, it would be better to replace it with V1.

(The hardware version is also printed on the box).

 

As for the Alexa skills, so far there hasn't been further news on whether Alexa skills will be available in Spain.

I don't think it's possible for me to exchange it for a V1 since I bought it on amazon and I won't be able to see the box before shipping.

I don't mind waiting for the firmware but what does scare me is that those features will never be in V1.2

  @J_R_M Also me i buy on Amazon to change X20...but also me arrived hardware 1.2 :-(

So i am very anhappy because is impossible but from amazon and ask 1.0 hardware

  @Hispanico ...and also on TP-Link is not present hardware version 1.2 (only 1.0 or 3.0)... so i returned X50

 

Just not clear TP-Link
