  @Sunshine

Firmware Version:‪ 1.1.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 230811 Rel.61080n_Beta
Hardware Version:‪ Archer MR600 v3.0 00000002

I'm using the Archer MR600 V3 with the beta firmware posted here on this post as on date.

I had to create a custom profile to select the xlat in order to get the internet working for my jio sim. After I created the new profile with the xlat PDP type, I'm able to get the internet working fine. Please note the MCC/MNC from my sim that you can add as you have requested earlier.

MCC: 405

MNC: 861

However, I'm facing another issue where every few hours, the router seem to be losing the ipv4 address from the ISP. I see that the internet stops working on client devices, when I go examine the router settings, I see that the ipv4 address is not there. My logging level seems to be default, that is debug I see. Once I restart the router, sometimes, a couple of times I hvae to do this to be able to get the IPv4 address assigned back again from the ISP.
However, I don't see anything on the system logs about this issue!!

Are you folks getting any reports of such issues? How can we troubleshoot or investigate this problem further?

Please check the screenshot here.

when things are good.

After about a few hours, internet stops working and I find that the ipv4 is missing.

Thanks.

Ketan

  @Sunshine ,

Issue Description:
There is a issue with MR200 router where my laptop is not able to connect to VPN using Jio 5G-enabled SIM.

Background:

Initial problem was I could not get internet from my MR200 router with Jio SIM. So, as suggested by Tp-Link Support team India and this thread (https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/edit/reply?sourceId=604130), I updated the firmware. After updating the firmware, restored it to factory settings and then I reconfigured the settings from scratch. Got the internet from my Jio SIM now. So, the initial problem was solved.
But, I am facing different problem now. The problem is I am unable to connect to my office VPN. The TacitineVPN client follows 2-factor authentication. Once I enter password, that's it - it is stuck on authentication screen and not completing. It keeps on showing like "MANAGEMENT: >STATE: 1718720577, WAIT,,,,"

My findings:
(1) Inserted the Same 5G-enabled Jio SIM into a mobile, turned on Mobile hotspot. Connected Laptop to mobile hotspot thru WiFi and connected to VPN successfully. So, no problem wih Jio SIM.
(2) Inserted a 5G-enabled Vi SIM into router, created another profile for Vi (PDP type: IPv4 & IPv6). Internet works fine. Connected laptop to router thru WiFi and connected to VPN successfully as usual. So, no problem when I use 5G-enabled Vi SIM with the beta firmware.

Thus, it seems like the problem is only with MR200 settings or a bug in beta firmware.

Troubleshooting Done so far:-
Multiple router restart, reset router, use Vi SIM, try different APN settings (PDP type, Authentication type, etc.).

  @Sunshine

BTW currently above firmware only provides IPv4 connectivity, So users who need IPv6 connectivity for their LAN clients for some reason can use my workaround here....

  @Sunshine Hello Sunshine

Is there any possibility of providing Beta firmware for tp link MR-200 V3.0? Does tp-link support this version any longer for Jio SIM card issue?
