Solution 464XLAT Support on TP-Link 4G/5G routers for Jio/EE/Optus/Vodafone and other SIM carriers
This Article Applies to:
TP-Link 4G/5G routers
Background:
With More and more SIM service providers gradually implementing 464XLAT mechanism in their services, after inserting the SIM card into TP-Link 4G/5G routers, some users might report that there is no internet access or certain Apps/websites can't be accessed. When checking the internet status, the router obtains an IPv6 address without an IPv4 address.
Available Solution:
The following beta versions have introduced 464XLAT support. It is suggested to install the specific version and check whether the reported issue can be fixed.
***Before downloading and updating the following beta firmware, please verify the model number and hardware version on the product label, especially the models with x.0, x.20, and x.30 versions. Please note that the x.0, x.20, and x.30 are different versions and are unable to use the same firmware.

this 2026 delivered device:
Firmware Version: 1.4.0 0.9.1 v0001.0
Build 220127 Rel.61306n
Hardware Version:
Archer MR600 v2 00000002
I also have a two-year-old device, still the MR600 v2. Last year when I tried to update it to the EU version, the update failed.

@David-TP Hi, I'm experiencing the very same issues as listed in this older post: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/817852?replyId=1552872;
I have a Digi.mobil PT SIM Card inserted on a router, more especifically the Archer MR550 router. I have no issues connecting to the Wi-Fi on my laptop and smartphones, but for some reason the streaming Apps on my Smart TV (Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+, Amazon Prime) get an error related to internet. On the other hand Apps like Browser, Youtube and Plex have access to internet and work wonderfully.
I'm considering sending the router back completely, although I really don't want to, as otherwise it works nicely.
I checked this post https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/604130 but there is no beta software I can install for my specific model.
I believe the issue might be related to MTU value, but I have no way of actually knowning or changing it.
Thank you.

Use this method (MR600v2 TPG-Vodafone Australia to EU)
1- Install firmware :
https://static.tp-link.com/upload/beta/2022/202208/20220812/Archer_MR600_V2_220810_AUTPG_to_EU.zip
2- Install EU firmware:
https://static.tp-link.com/upload/firmware/2022/202212/20221205/Archer_MR600(EU)_V2_220105.zip
When completed, Login to the MR600v2 and check for updates .

Hi, welcome to the community.
I'm afraid there hasn't yet.
May I know your mobile ISP? Have you tried to manually set the PDP type to "IPV4 only"?
It is also recommended to reach out to the local technical support for further assistance.

Best regards.

The ISP is Jio.
I have tried IPV4, IPV6 and IPV4 & IPV6 as well but none worked. The IP address doesn't show up on IPv4. IP v6 shows connected but doesn't work.
All other providers work with this router except for Jio, which used to work before.
I believe a firmware update should fix it similar to the beta versions that have been releases for other routers.

The "Registration denied by the visible network" error on Jio after a 5G upgrade is a known issue with older MR600 firmware — the router is trying to register on a network band that Jio has reconfigured as part of their 5G rollout and the older ISP profile doesn't match anymore.
A few things worth trying if you haven't already — go into the router's mobile settings and manually set the network mode to 4G only rather than auto, which stops it from attempting 5G registration it can't complete. Also check whether locking to a specific band (B3 or B40 for Jio typically) makes a difference since auto band selection sometimes latches onto a signal it can't actually authenticate on.
If TP-Link has released a newer firmware version specifically for the MR600 after your current build date it's worth flashing — Jio compatibility fixes have come through firmware updates for other models in this situation.
Worst case, contacting TP-Link support with your log file attached tends to get faster results than forum troubleshooting for carrier-specific registration issues since they can check if there's a known fix or updated APN profile for your ISP version.
