recurring loss of IP config in TP Link
Hi all, am running Win 10 pro on a HP Elite desktop. using cable LAN from TP link box. with incoming to NBN box ( Australia) via cable, ( TPG providor) . Also use for a VOIP phone and wireless to another PC in house in a LAN set up.
am getting regular I/Net dropouts mainly due to "" Ethernet doesn't have valid IP config"" ... found when run trouble shooter. not always auto fixed. usually run ipconfig.exe or reboot by power Off/On to the 2 boxes. Qn: why the fairly often loss of config? I/net ( boxes + LAN) system is about 2yrs old , PC is 5yrs old, refurbished. checks out ok on tests.
