My Deco XE200 was working great; giving me high Wi-Fi data-transfer speed and stable internet connection. However, when I updated the router to newest firmware (to 1.1.1), I have noticed that the internet connection is dropping frequently (although the Wi-Fi connection is fine).

 

Anything I can do?

Hi, welcome to the community.

During the disconnection, have you noticed whether the main Deco XE200 would turn red?

Do you need to restart Deco XE200 to get the internet connection back？

By the way, did all the mobile devices have the same issue? or just random clients?

Honestly, I did not pay attention to the alert color in the router. I will do that form now on.

 

Sometimes, turning off and back on the Wi-Fi toggle in menu bar do the trick; but other times, I have to reboot the router.

 

Yes, It affects all of my connected devices; laptop, mobile phone, and TV.
