I recently bought C6U assuming that I can use as Secondary router along with my existing C6 V4. But looks like the current upto date firmware does not support Easymesh setup

(C6 V4 - EasyMesh supported firmware

C6U v1 - OneMesh supported firmware)

With this I cannot use the Mesh feature (or Ethernet Overhaul) between these routers.

Could some one share any beta firmware that I can try in c6u to try EasyMesh feature?

Follow this post and check if you can add C6 v4 to the C6U v1 Onemesh network - that means using C6U v1 as a main router and C6 v4 as a satellite router.

@terziyski Thank you. It works flawless. My first attempt was without pressing the WPS button. That's where I messed up.

Below are the steps i followed.

1. Configured C6U as main router.

2. C6 V4 - Changed mode from Easymesh menu as satellite router.

3. After C6 reboot. Pressed WPS button

4. Pressed WPS Button on C6U.

5. C6 V4 Router added as satellite device in the C6U OneMesh page.

Tada! done 👍
