Hello, Community!

I've been encountering an issue with my study laptop recently - it's offering a 4G network option, but strangely, the 5G option isn't available. It's been quite a puzzle, and I thought this knowledgeable community would be the best place to seek help. If anyone has experienced a similar situation or has insights on resolving this, I'd greatly appreciate your advice.

Thanks in advance for your help!
William

  @Williamglowacki

Hi, welcome to the community.

I'd love to help but I think you will get better suggestions from Lenovo support.

Best regards.

Ensure that your laptop's wireless network adapter supports 5GHz frequencies. Some older or budget laptops might only support 2.4GHz. Check if your wireless network adapter driver is up to date. Visit the manufacturer's website or use the device manager on your laptop to update the driver. Make sure that your router is broadcasting a 5GHz signal. Check your router settings, and if it's a dual-band router, ensure that both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands are enabled.
