Archer AXE75 6 GHz does not work
Archer AXE75 6 GHz does not work
I bought their AXE75 router last December, but the 6 GHz band, a new feature at the time, I was unavailable to test it. I recently acquired a new phone (Pixel 8) that supports this band, only to discover that the router is malfunctioning since the phone is unable to connect to or even detect the band.

Hi, thank you very much for posting on TP-Link Community.
Please try to change the 6GHz WiFi channel and channel width on Advanced->Wireless->Wireless Settings page to see if it makes any difference.
By the way, can this new phone able to see any other 6GHz WiFi?

Thanks for the reply, yesterday I tried with an iphone 15 and didn't detect the band too. So, it confirmed me the problem is the router.

Hi, did you try to change the 6GHz WiFi channel and channel width on the Archer AXE75 router?
Is there any other 6GHz WiFi available? If so, please test if the two phones are able to see any other 6GHz WiFi.

Hi,
I have tried all the solutions posted on this community, and none of them work.
Also, I scanned another 6GHz around me and couldn't find anything. I looked on Reddit to see if any other Pixel 8 users are dealing with WiFi issues, and it seems not to be a problem at all.

6Ghz channel on wifi 6E on my Archer 75 is not detecting nor connecting from my iPhone 15 Pro max (brand new phone).. I have consulted Apple support already, nothing... I am pretty sure the problem lies with The TPLink Router -- does the 6Ghz really work?

Same. I have AXE75 as well. I use Samsung Tablet S8 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Both devices cannot see 6GHz by AXE75.
I have tried all their older firmwares from the Support page. Nothing works. I guess I will stick with WiFi 6 on 160MHz.

I've just found this post after researching my issue.
Up until yesterday, I could connect to the 6Ghz band because I had it set up with a separate SSID. However, upon purchasing the RE815XE and configuring it as per Apple's advice, which is to set all bands with the same SSID, I can no longer connect to the 6Ghz band with my iPhone 15 PM.
I've since changed it back to a separate 6Ghz SSID, as I've just found out that the RE815XE doesn't support wireless backhaul via 6Ghz yet, so I may as well take advantage of the 6Ghz band.
Just thought I'd post this in case it helps anyone out.

It appears RE815X also supports wireless backhaul via 6GHz.
Can you please verify whether the 6GHz band can be used as wireless backhaul on the AXE75' web management page when you set all bands with the same SSID?
When you mentioned the iPhone 15 PM cannot connect to the 6GHz network, does it mean it failed to connect either the AXE75's 6GHz or RE815XE's?
