VPN onto my Deco stops internet HELP
I have a Deco X20 I wanted to put a SurfShark VPN onto.
When I added the VPN, the speed dropped from 350 Mbps to around 10/15 Mbps.
when I use the Surfshark app, it doesn't use an Open VPN. it uses Wireguard. in the Deco app everyone can change the VPN type but mine is stuck on OpenVPN with no option to change.
below is what I do
- Deco App
- Advanced
- VPN Client
- Add VPN Server
- NordVPN, SurfsharkVPN or Custom (I click surfshark)
- Select I have a Surfshark VPN and log in
- VPN Type can't be changed
