Solution Unstable LTE Connection with Archer MR500 and MR550

Phenomenon Description:
Some users have encountered internet dropouts with the Archer MR500 and MR550 routers after a certain period of normal operation. When attempting to log into the web page, an error message is displayed, indicating that the internet is not connected. Temporary resolution can be achieved by rebooting the router, but the issue might happen again after a while.
Workaround:
If you encounter similar issues, we recommend trying the following beta firmware and monitor if the internet will be more stable.
Archer MR500: Archer_MR500(EU)_V1_1.7.0_Build_20231122
Archer MR550: Archer_MR550(EU)_V1_1.5.0_Build_20230828

Further Troubleshooting Suggestions:
If the problem still exists after installing the above beta firmware, please provide the following information for further troubleshooting:
1. When the issue happens again, please login the web interface, share with us screenshots of Advanced->Status page, Advanced->Network->Internet page.
2. When the issue happens again, please go to Advanced->System Tools->System Log page and save a log file(don't restart the router, or previous logs will be cleared)
3. Detailed description of the issue and let us know how often it happens.

@Sunshine HI, One question: is it normal for the MR500 to switch every 15/20 seconds from 4G to 4G+? It does this every day at all hours and the log file is endless until the automatic restart at 03:00.

Picked up a new one today. Worked for 3 hours, then it needed to be rebooted again. My third device with exactly the same issue.

@Ekkoh Hi, I have changed my ISP (it only works in band 3/20) for 15 days and I have not had disconnection problems (automatic restart every night). With my previous ISP (band 3/20/28) I had several disconnections throughout the day that were solved with automatic restart at night. I was bored (trying various setups since January) since I mainly use it for home surveillance at my 2nd residence. I decided to change ISP and I've had no disconnections for 15 days. The only problem is that it changes every 15/20 seconds from 4G to 4G+. Try another ISP to verify..... Regards

@Ekkoh Install an outdoor mimo antenna, no problem with signal loss, so install the antenna on the roof and enjoy the Internet

Hi, the changing between 4G and 4G+ is usually related to the base station as well, if the internet is stable now and speed is acceptable, please don't worry.
