VPN feature for Deco X50-5G
VPN feature for Deco X50-5G
Apologies for the pointing the thread directly to you but I wanted to know if there might be a pre-release firmware for the X50-5G that supports VPN.
I saw from a thread with angryminion here last June that you mentioned that support may be coming. I know it might be silly to ask but do you guys have an ETA?

Hello @leeks,
Last week, my Deco X50-5G (hardware version v1) received an update (version 1.2.0) that introduced the VPN feature. Please check if this update is available for your device as well. I would also like to extend my gratitude to the TP-Link dev-team for providing us with this much-anticipated feature.

@leeks My version of Firmware still shows 1.1.7 Build 20240809 Rel. 18610 and I checked for updates and says is up to date...
Let's hope this is an update rolling and with 1.2.0 will come... I wonder how these firmware updates are distributed. I am based in the UK.
@David-TP do you know if the Firmware has the VPN features for this Deco X50-5G and when will be available globally? I am still waiting for the feature... every day is more important to havethe VPN!
Thanks in advance.
Diego

@leeks @ByteX @-Diego Seems to work with version 1.2, but only for ipv4. When I try to add ipv6 manually, it gives an error when adding the WireGuard config. From the support of my VPN provider, I received that in order to have it working for ipv6 I have to change:
AllowedIPs = 0.0.0.0/0
to
AllowedIPs = 0.0.0.0/0, ::/0
But Deco app does not allow the ip ::/0
