  @David-TP

I cannot answer directly it's like the deco router locks up when trying to view it in the app and I could be mid work and it just disconnects the call or just Remote Desktop not high usage.

the online time resets to 0m but the system uptime remains constant.

i don't want my router in access point mode I put the virgin router in modem mode and it was fine as I said when using an x60 as the primary's deco for the last year.

i had it in internet backup with SIM before and it was much worse it was more than once a day so I turned off that functionality, which is also annoying as I want to use it for its correct function. but it just seems too buggy as when it switches to internet backup and then back to the normal link in quick succession because it miss detects internet being down because of the lock up it's even more an annoyance.

Good day all. I have Deco x50 5g v.1 from 2 months and I  would give it back if I can. In past I was having 3 routers and non of them was disconnecting me like this one at different time of day. TP-LINK you are a big big company and I see that many people have problems  with  this, why you don't fix this?

  @SylwjJ

Hi, thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the intermittent disconnections.
The engineering team is actively addressing stability issues through firmware updates, with multiple patches already released to improve performance. However, some challenges stem from external factors, such as compatibility gaps with certain ISP 5G network architectures. We are collaborating closely with mobile carriers to resolve these infrastructure-related limitations, though this process requires time due to third-party dependencies.

If you'd like to further cooperate with us, it is recommended to send an email to support.forum@tp-link.com with the following details:

  • The mobile ISP
  • How often would the mobile network drop out?
  • Would the main Deco X50-5G turn red during the disconnection?
  • When Deco X50-5G is disconnected again, please save a screenshot of the Internet Status and a copy of the web UI admin UI, such as

Best regards.
