Story Outdoor Wi-Fi for Remote Shed
Background Details:
I had a severe need to install a Flume leak detector at the water meter which is some 300ft away from the house on the drive which is not within line of sight, in a cement box with a hill between the unit and the house also. Internally and an X50 on the roof of the house I still couldn’t get a signal to stay up with the receiver. As a last resort, I decided to try a second X50 mounted on a shed some 200ft from the house and bam… up and running with a clear uninterrupted Wi-Fi signal into the meter hole which was a further 100+ft away.
