Hi Everyone

I'm trying to apply parental control roles on my router (whitelist / blacklist sites)

 and unfortunately i found that i need to set it up per each device!!!!

i use my router for somehow puplic use to make my students able access a certain site only (online exam)

 I wish to apply it for all users who access my router

how can I do that???

  @Hussam_el_din

Hi, there is no option to add all client devices automatically into parental control device list, you could only add devices manually.

Maybe you could add all devices first and then setup Access Control Whitelist to add the trusted devices only, in this way, devices not in the list will not be able to connect the network.

Note: wireless client devices now usually support random MAC address, so make sure the students device disabling the random MAC address, or when it changes randomly, reconnecting the WiFi will not be possible since only specific MAC addresses are allowed.

  @Sunshine

Thank you very much for your reply

unfortunately I don't have fixed students, they change every class.

I have asked ChatGBT and suggested DNS filtering methods such as Cisco umbrella and clouldflare

I'm reading now a. learn how to use them.
