Model: Archer AX10   Deco E4
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hello, first of all sorry for my poor english. I currently have a Archer C2 in my house that im planning to change for an Archer AX-10 because the C2 caps my speed at 100 mbps. I live in an old house so I installed 3 E4 mesh devices for strenghten the signal. My problem is that for the mesh to work I need to deactivate my router and connect one of the E4 devices by lan.
My question is, does AX-10 or any router can be part of the mesh, using its antennas to lift the signal instead of being disable and letting only the E4 mesh devices working? And does any router connect to mesh system wirelessly, not being necessary to connect a lan to one of the E4? Thanks, and sorry again my language.

Easymesh is not compatible with Deco mesh - details.

As you alreay mentioned - you have to turn off AX10 wireless radio and use only the Deco E4 mesh for wireless access.

Here's how to use your wireless router with Deco mesh in AP mode.

Any gigabit router would do the job - for example Archer C64 is a budget gigabit router.

@terziyski what if instead of buying a router i buy a decomesh device an use it like a router? is a bad idea? My problem is I dont want the router disabled next to the mesh, i see it like a waste.

Ther's no any obstacle if you want buy a Deco unit as they all are compatible to each other and use it like a main router.

Just bare in mind the following - Can different Deco models work together ?
