Hi everyone,

I bought three deco M4 for my house, installation went well, I didn't face any issues.

After few days I decided to use the ECO MODE for the wifi schedule option.

First I set the following schedule : 0:00 to 07:00 wifi OFF.

Wifi went off at 23:50 and never went back on. I had to switch deco's to router mode and back to access point to make the wifi work again.

Secondely I tried again with the following schedule : 19:45 to 19:50.

At 19:45 the app told me that wifi is off, in reality the wifi was still working and never went off.

I ended up by disabled this feature and thinking that there is a coding issues in the eco mode.

Shame because it would be nice to have it working.

Any chance there will be an upgrade?

For the reported issue here, I think that is probably why the engineers want to optimize the WiFi Schedules issue later. The WiFi schedule under ECO Mode 1.0 disabled the Wireless Network as well as the wireless Mesh Backhaul.

Could you please refer to this link to help me submit the Deco APP log as well as the system log via web UI:

How to find the Deco system Please log into the web UI first, then go to advanced>System>System logs.

In the meantime, could you please help run a simple test when you are available:

If there is only the main Deco M4, will the Wi-Fi schedule work as intended?

Thanks for your answer.

I did submit the deco log on the app.

For the record, my deco model is M4R(1.0) with latest firmware 1.6.2.

M4 backhaul is over ethernet wire.

I got the web UI log but can't add it on this message.

I tried the test you asked me to do, result:

I shutted down the second M4 and let the main alive.

Set eco mode on.

Set wifi schedule to 18:15 to 18:20.

At 18:15 wifi turned off, message on the app says wifi is off now.

At 18:20 wifi turned on.

I did a second test , result :

I turned on the second M4 and wait for it to be alive.

Set wifi schedule to 18:25 to 18:30.

At 18:25 main deco wifi turned off, second deco wifi still working, app says your wifi is off now.

It seems to be working only on the main deco.
How to apply this to every deco connected (I intend to add a third M4)?

Hi, Thanks for the update.

I think the WiFi Schedule should work for all Deco units in the Mesh. The logs have been forwarded to the senior engineers for further analysis.

Hope they can help us locate the issue as soon as possible. Please also check the email for more suggestions later.
