Hello everyone,

I'm inquiring about the TP-Link Deco X3000-5G and TP-Link Deco X50-5G. Are they the same model? I couldn't find any information about the Deco X3000-5G on the TP-Link website. 

I'm asking because there's a new firmware available for the Deco X50-5G - X50-5G-SP1-1.1.5 Build 20240419 Rel. 73943-whole-up-RSA1024. I'm curious whether this firmware is also compatible with the Deco X3000-5G.

Hi, Thanks for the message.

Deco X3000-5G will have its own 1.1.5 version later and it couldn't use the 1.1.5 of Deco X50-5G.

It is a variant of the Deco X50-5G  and is sold in different distribution channels. Both the hardware and software features are quite similar.

   Sorry if being a bit offtopic, but I would like to buy a Deco 5G-LTE and I have as options X50-5G and X3000-5G at the same price. Wich one should I buy?

Any ETA for the firmware update ?

Also, i can't find a page of the Deco X3000 5G product in the fr website (even with research). 

There is only results for the Deco X50 5G.

 

Also, if the product is different, can you be more specifics about the differences ?

And finally, the link to the retailer on the french site to buy the X50 5G are both broken (Amazon / CDiscout), but Amazon sells the X3000.

Kind of a mess.

 

Is it really a different product with incompatible firmware ? Is it possible to double check.

If you find both Deco X50-5G and Deco X3000-5G available, I would recommend going for Deco X50-5G.

 

 

@Az42 Hi, They are separate models and aim for different distribution channels. There are barely difference in the specification and Deco X50-5G is more prevalent.
