Hi, thanks for your update.

The beta firmware is 1.0.11 from this thread, are you using this?

Sorry, we are confused. Do you think the repeated information(PPP INFO [31866] pppoe send PADT due to(resending PADI) PPP INFO [31866] pppoe send PADI Host-Uniq(7c7a) ) from the log is a problem or causing problems? We need more issue description to understand better if you have have performance issue.

And can this beta firmware fix the issue that  the wireless setting "OFDMA+MU-MIMO"  can not be saved?

@Marvin_S : My connection drops out every few hours currently. :( I've upgraded to the latest Beta version and it's just as bad. any advances settings you can suggest? I'm on a LAN connection, when the internet drops out, I can't even connect to the router. It says everything is online and then after 2 minutes I can log back in again. ISP BT have said it's all on the router and suggested sending the TP router back.

@Marvin_S I tried the Beta Firmware, which takes away a lot of the Routers functionality.  Anyway, the Beta firmware did not work for me, it still kept dropping connections and just causing havoc.  I eventually sent the router back to the supplier and they replaced it with a new one, which I only received two days ago.  I installed the new one and so far my issues have been resolved.  The routers 2.4 and 5Ghz transmission power is though not what I expected.

Hi, thanks for your update~

After consult support engineers , we may need your cooperation for suggestions and troubleshooting below:

1. Is Archer BE550 connected to your BT modem? Please share the model of the front-end modem.

2. Please change another Ethernet cable between BE550 and your modem, then check the performance.

3. Please fix the Internet Port Negotiation Speed to 1000Mbps or 100Mbps for a try. On the Web UI, please go to Advanced >>Network >>Internet >>Internet Port Negotiation Speed Setting

4. When the internet drops, can you go to the Web UI to check the Ethernet Status of WAN port from Network Map >> Archer BE550 >>Ethernet Status (bottom part) >>

2.5Gbps WAN.  Please share the screenshot of this section if possible.

5. When did you start using the router? Did the issue always happen since you purchased it?

6.Do you have a PC?

Appreciate your cooperation in advance.

@Marvin_S It's done it since I purchased it: When the internet goes - I can't access the router even via LAN on my PC. It just says it's unavailable. After 2 minutes, it comes back to life.

The BE550, is going direct to a open reach fibre to the door box.

Does seem to be using alot of memory:

Hi, thanks for your update.

Do you mean there is no modem or ISP device, what connection type did you choose when setting up the router? PPPoE or Dynamic IP?

Did you change another Ethernet cable to plug into WAN port on BE550?

We would like to escalate your case to the support engineers, and they will help follow it up.  If you are willing to do further analysis, please check your inbox and respond.

Thanks for your cooperation.
