@ChrisBS @Kevin_Z  The update process went fine for me too last night on this 1.0.11. I downloaded the file onto pc switched off my AX73 satellite then disconnected the router from the internet. After update connected router to internet then switched on AX73 with all connecting and no problems and still using Ethernet backhaul so I can confirm that works for me. With the exception of extras being added to the router web UI, and yes I do agree for the need of a satellite restart option in the menu, I don't for me seem to see any other problems.

I did notice something unusual and it was the same for the 1.0.9, when I test my iPhone 14 with Fast.com a few feet away from the BE550 on 5G I get around 650Mbs but when I go upstairs and test it from my Mesh Satellite AX73 I get around 800Mbs. I check the Tether app and it does confirm the switch to the AX73 @ 5G. Tested again this morning with nothing else streaming and got more or less the same results. Unless I'm missing something I thought it would've been the opposite way around, or is it because of the static antennas in the BE550 compared to the movable antennas on the AX73?

EDIT2: Ok, ran into my first problem earlier. Decided to do some Wi-Fi testing with only the BE550 so switched off my AX73 satellite, then switched off the power to the router and ONT fibre socket. Switched the ONT on first then the BE550 a minute later. Strangely once fully ON all my Wi-Fi devices stayed on 2.4Ghz with none moving to the 5G (Smart connection on) I then tested my iPhone but could only get around 80Mbs, did more testing over 30min but same (LAN speeds ok). I then noticed my Smart tv was flashing on the screen connected, disconnected, connected, disconnected for the Wi-Fi. I then tried my tether app and my mobile could not connect for more than 3 seconds at a time as it also was jumping between Wi-Fi and 3G. I then switched power off to both the BE550 and ONT socket, waited 10min then switched them on at the same time. Once all connected I checked and seen devices moved to the 5G and the jumping on the TV and iPhone had stopped.

It seems to have stopped now with my Wi-Fi speeds being as it was this morning.

The new firmware upgraded great was working great then all of a sudden has just degraded to point where devices wouldnt connect then  would just be intermittent especially like Alexa gooogle home devices but phones top tried a reboot of the router plus the fttp ont but still problems so hqve rolled back to the 180624 beta.

@TheHypnooToad Hey, sounds very similar to what I experienced a few days ago. I've had NO problems since though and still on 1.0.11.

I had came up with two possible reasons why with the first being a glitch with the ONT and router due to me switching both OFF then ON at different times.

The second I had my 5GHz set to channel 100 (DFS) and wondered if maybe this had a hand in it and why it couldn't move to the 5GHz straight away, unsure if this would cause the constant connect/disconnect jumping. Before I rebooted the router I moved the channel to 48 and It's been fine since. I also have my 2.4GHz on channel 11.

Checking a Wi-Fi signal analyzer via Android tablet shows a very quiet graph from any neighbour's.

@David6479 I believe there was a slight outage from bt looking around which has caused me to restart the ont then the router 20 seconds after and has been a pain ever since I have just re uploaded back to 1.0.11 so will see what happens.

Does any one know how to solve issues with the router dropping out every few hours? I've done the latest Beta and I'm getting this constantly: (every few hours currently)
