BE85 and Deco X50?

I have two questions. I'm considering buying the new BE85 Deco. But I might also need to set up an outdoor model, like a Deco X50. I understand that the Wi-Fi speed will be 'reduced' since it doesn't support Wi-Fi 7. But will it work? Second question: I currently have a Switch - ZyXEL XGS1010-12. If I want to connect them via the 10 Gb port, what cable and adapter should I use?

Hi, welcome to the community.

Deoc BE85 would work well with Deco X50-outdoor and all Deco units could work together.

For more details, please refer to Can different Deco models work together?

For the ZyXEL XGS1010-12. do you plan to connect it like:

ISP modem---Deco BE85---<#1>---ZyXEL XGS1010-12---Deco X50- Outdoor

Do you plan to use SFP+ ports on both BE85 and ZyXEL XGS1010-12 to establish a connection?

It is also suggested to refer to Deco SFP+ Ports User Reference Guide- Case Three
