Model: Deco XE75 Pro   TL-WA850RE
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.11 Build 2024024

3 Deco's E75 pro working OK, after connectin one WA850RE as a client via 2,4 network is unstable - wifi devices are working well (5ghz mainly) LAN clients are not working - problems with getting ip address, dns is not resolving names or just generale failure of network.

Setup

DECO1 - main router

DECO2 - station

DECO3 - station

WA850RE - client using deco's 2,4 wifi

lan device connected to WA850RE lan port.

The end device connected to WA850RE is working like a charm...

If i poweroff the WA850RE everything is working OK, the same when i block the devices in the deco app.

Any ideas if such configuration should work?

Double checked the ip address of the wa850re lan device and it's in good subnet, no ip conflict etc.

  @JacekKa

Hi,

Will the devices have the same issue when directly connected to the Deco LAN ports?

Please change the DNS settings on the Deco.

And you can also test if set up an address reservation can help.

How to configure Address Reservation on a Deco

If the issue still exists, please also provide the error message when the issue occurs.

  @Sunshine

the end device is set to fixed ip, 192.168.5.x, deco mainstsyion is 192.168.5.1, but the sub stations are 192.168.4.1.... what do you mean adding a fixed reservation? For WL repeater device? As you probably know MAC address of end device is not available for reservation via wifi
