Model: Deco XE75 Pro
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.2 Build 20230613 Rel 53594

I have a guest network called 'hello' and have noticed that the Deco is broadcasting a wifi network called hello_6GHz with no password. Anyone can connect to it and get access to my internet.

I have updated the firmware, rebooted it and the problem still appears.

I have even disabled the guest network from the app, rebooted the devices and the network STILL shows. 6 GHz network is set to 'Dedicated backhaul'

What's going on?

This is a huge security risk

Looks like it's not just me:

I've figured out how to fix it

- Go to WiFi Settings

- Change 6ghz dedicated backhaul to Wifi Network and Backhaul

- Then go to Guest Wifi Settings

- You'll see a guest network 6ghz with no password, turn that off

- Then change 6ghz back to dedicated backhaul

This is a bug and should be fixed
