Mobile phones Internet stops working 2-3 times an hour
I have a Deco S7 triple set in router mode, which has worked flawlessly for over a year. However, in the past three months, I’ve noticed that all family members' mobile phones/tablets (both Android and Apple) will randomly lose their internet connection, even though they still show as "connected" to the home WiFi. The only solutions seem to be either waiting for about a minute or turning the WiFi off and back on again on the phone.
During these 'outages', I’ve checked the Deco, and all tests appear to be fine. There’s no WiFi interference, and we don’t have any baby monitors or other devices that could be causing issues. I’ve thoroughly reviewed my Deco settings multiple times, but nothing stands out. We have plenty of spare IP addresses available, and my DNS settings are configured to 8.8.8.8 as the primary and 8.8.4.4 as the secondary. Multiple reboots of my Plusnet router and deco network.
I have considered using wireshark from my laptop but it has never had an issue.
Again, there were no issues for nearly a year, but recently this has been happening to all our phones repeatedly, regardless of which Deco unit they are connected to.
I also cannot find my hardware version, not on sticker, web access or within app
Any ideas?
