Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

Hi I built an internal mesh of P9's using a 2.4Ghz on the guest network and 5Ghz on the base network using powerline. I need to extend the range externally to my house to reach a gate for a wifi doorbell camera. Is it possible to add a non powerline mesh unit such as an X50 to the mesh to extend it externally? If so how?

Hi,

Yes, you add other non powerline model to your current Deco network.

Please refer to this thead for more information.

Can different Deco models work together?

If you want to extend the network to the outdoors, you can consider on the model Deco X50-Outdoor.

And you can refer to this FAQ to add more Deco units.
