Hello from Germany.

I plan to by me an VX800V Router. But my Network is pretty complex.

The Topology:

1. DSL MOdem -> 2. OPNSense Server -> 3. at moment AVM Fritzbox -> diverent devices: Such VOIP DECT Phones, NAS Server, Gaming PC, WLAN Devices, Powerline System

in deep:

1: -> DSL at the moment later this yoear or next year it will an connection over Fiber

2: OPNSense Server:

- i try no other firewalls and so from Routers and co. so i Use this server to Mange my Network. - Connection over PPPOE to German T-Online- DHCP Server for all Clients -> Firewall and so

3: AVM Fritzbox for  DECT, VOIP, Network switch and so. Fritzbox runs as Networkclient

SO. now my Questions.

I plan to by my the VX800V Router.

Is this POssible tu use this Router behind my OPNSense Server as an Network client for WLAN and DECT and MASH with TP-Link Powerline?

If yes. how must i configure the VX800V?

Hi,

This model VX800v does not supports Access Point mode.

Besides, it is a ISP customized model.

If you would like to buy a DSL modem router from online or local store by yourself, it is more recommended to buy normal model.
