Hi,

I've added my mobile to isolated devices.

And cannot access wireless connected pc\chromecast\ipcams..... its OK

But isolated device can access wired clients like nas, dvr, my server and some ip cams.

Device isolation is not working properly?

Please dont recommend me to use AP Isolation because home users dont need it

IoT network dont isolate devices, it clients have full access to network so i dont understand why tplink add it?  this is just another wifi.

Question is about Device isolation, I just want to isolate some iot devices from my network

The only solution i found is connecting iot devices to Guest network

disable Allow guests to see each other
disable Allow guests to access your local network

Hi,

Yes, the "IoT network" is just another Wi-Fi network, giving you the flexibility of having another Wi-Fi network with a different SSID, password and Wi-Fi security setting.

Yes, you can use the Guest Network feature to isolate your IoT devices.

And yes, the Device Isolation feature is flawed on several of the Archer models that support this feature. We can only hope this will be fixed in future firmware versions.
