You can try holding the power button for a longer duration to see if there is any change in the LED light. Alternatively, power off the plug for a while, such as a few hours, and then attempt to reset it. Note: After powering the plug back on, please wait until it has fully started before performing the reset.
Additionally, if your plug is a WiFi setup model (some are Bluetooth), check your phone's Wi-Fi list to see if you can find the smart plug’s default Wi-Fi network for configuration, e.g. TP-Link Smart Plug XXXX. If the device's Wi-Fi is visible, you can try configuring it directly, as there may be an issue with the LED status.
If the device still cannot be reset, please contact the retailer or local TP-Link support for warranty assistance.
