Model: Deco X50-5G

Firmware Version:

I have Deco-P9 mesh wifi at home with  ZTE MC801A 5G modem. In order to use the modem from same family, I decide to replace with Deco X50-5G. However, speed it very bad. I can get 300 bps with ZTE but same SIM card Deco X50-5G gives only 25 to 30 bps. I don't understand what is wrong? Both modems are connected in same place, same SIM card. Even when I see user interface of Deco X50-5G, signal of mobile network is 100%. Is there any settings that I am missing?

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

May I know you SIM service provider?

Please make sure the OQS on the Deco X50-5G disabled, or set to 350Mbps upload/download.

It is also suggested to temporatily disable 2.4Ghz band and test the interent speed on the 5Ghz wifi only.

Moreover, Have you checked the current network mode as well as the 5G NR/LTE band on the Deco X50-5G? Is it the same as what was on ZTE MC801A 5G modem?

If you haven't updated to 1.2.0 here, It is also suggested to manually install the latest firmware here:

Deco X50-5G-V1-1.2.0 Supports WireGuard VPN, Hybrid Mesh and More

Thank you very much and best regards.
