Dear All :

I am Sumair Rathore, and I am facing an issue regarding my DSL Modem. I have a modem which is a TP-Link Router with PTCL Firmware installed in it by a telecommunication company in Pakistan, Suddenly my Wireless option is gone from my modem page when we enter it after entering our IP address which is given on the back of the modem. My concern is how do i get it back is there a firmware issue or something else when I open its statics page it shows TD-W9970N I searched the tp-link website for its firmware with no success.

What is the issue my main concern is it is a Firmware issue or something else any help should be greatly appreciated.

Hi, welcome to our community.

As the fimware was installed by your ISP, we are not sure whether there is some special settings in it. Also, it seems your device is a customized model by some local ISPs only.

It is sincerely suggested to contact local ISP to confirm.

Try resetting the modem to factory settings and see if that restores the wireless option. If that doesn’t work, you might need to check for a compatible firmware version from PTCL or Bodylynl contact their support for an update.
