Disappointed with Firmware Rollout Frequency

I want to express my growing frustration with the frequency (or lack thereof) of firmware updates for the XE75 Pro (XE75PRO).
For a product in this price range, I expected a more proactive approach to rolling out updates that address performance issues, optimize features, and fix reported bugs. Regular firmware updates are a basic expectation to ensure long-term value and performance.
It feels like the current update schedule isn’t keeping pace with user feedback or market competition. Issues like poor channel optimization and instability after updates have been widely reported, yet these concerns seem to persist without resolution.
I hope TP-Link takes this feedback seriously and commits to a more consistent and transparent update process going forward.
Is anyone else experiencing similar frustrations? I’d appreciate hearing your thoughts.

Hi, if you're interested, there is a beta firmware for Deco XE75 Pro_V1 that allows Deco units in the same Mesh network to use non-overlapping channels for mobile clients to reduce the internal interference. You can find it in the private message and test whether it helps.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

Hi, there is also one for Deco XE75_v1. I've left with the beta firmware via private message.
Best regards.

@CyberHavoc9017 100% agree. I doubt anything will change, but the easy to find (for me) bugs and problems don't really seem to be getting addressed, despite a whole slew of new 'DECO' products streaming out. That last part is concerning - I'm certainly not buying them. I've a couple 'BETA@ fw that basically keep me alive, but they are not 'released' fixes. I've been waiting for probably close to a year for releases to address issues many have. These were premium units at the time I bought them. I've no confidence to buy wifi 7 ones from T-PLink, assuming the service will be the same. A little more transparency and effort and things might be very different, but, I think TPLink are stretched very, very thin on this and it all seems quite a mess looking at their code & scripts.
I really hope they sort it. My biggest issue is, many comparable products seem the same. The ones I in a similar price range, anyway. That no excuse for anyone. Don't release it if it is flawed! The marketing claims in some parts are pretty close to fraud! Anyway. I hope they sort it. I'd like it to work as it should. If not, I will have to cash out for one of the 2 brands I know are exceptional (from 30 years of being an IT bod), but somewhat more pricey! I guess you get what you pay for, to some extent.

Absurd things happen with the Deco system. This week, I contacted TP-Link support because I was having issues with my IoT network. I have a total of 8 Decos, and my IoT devices were connecting to the farthest Decos instead of the closest ones, even though I had set connection preferences specifying which Deco each device should connect to. The support team's response was that the connection preference only applies to the main network and doesn't work on the IoT network — even though the app shows that option for the IoT network as well. As a result, I had to move 100% of my IoT devices to the main network to fix the issue.
Another absurd thing is how TP-Link keeps releasing tons of new Deco models while abandoning the existing ones. For example, they recently launched the Deco BE65, which allows manual selection of Wi-Fi bandwidth and channel. Older models like the XE75 Pro, Deco X60, and Deco XE200 don't have this option. In other words, they focus on launching a bunch of different Decos and forget to update the ones they've already released. I'm very close to replacing my entire Deco system with another solution, like Unifi routers.

@Rafael--23 Yep. I'm looking to Unify too. I used it for work over many year. Expensive, but just works. Costly exercise this!

@Rafael--23 Absolutely what I felt too.
Started with MR200 then MR400, X50-4G, X50 and X50-5G. Finally gave up a few months ago.
Hated how new models kept being released, and then current models get recycled with new, yet similar model (different name) as a new product.
This in turn cause existing products to be supported for much shorter period of time. Which then makes it almost impossible to properly support bug fixes and feature updates.
Features are so unevenly rolled out across board unlike how you get with iOS and macOS (one release for every devices). Some Deco devices only get like 3 updates (mostly small fixes) in their lifetime. Check the product pages of old Deco units and you'll see.
It's amazing how TP-Link kept getting away doing this.

Hi David, thanks for the reply and generally being helpful. I ended up buying a BE65 to go with the XE75 pro and that allowed me to change the 2.4 channel. To others, I had looked at the Ubiquiti UX7 or UDR7 but they have issues with firmware also.
