Tapo P115 Gives Electricity Even When Turned Off
Hello,
I am using the TP Link Tapo P115 smart plug. I noticed that there is electricity in the plug even when it is turned off. When I switch the plug to the off position via the app and measure the energy, I see 12 V of electricity, while it measures 223 V when the plug is on. Is it normal for the plug to have a small amount of electricity when it is off? It doesn't seem normal to me, as I believe the relay inside should completely cut off the electricity.

Please plug in the P115 to the outlet in a reverse direction and test it again.
Take an F-type plug for for example:
