When performing the firmware update, make sure the phone is on the same wifi network as the smart plug. Turn off cellular data.  Disable VPN if any.

 

Do you use an Android phone or iPhone?

  @Wayne-TP the P100 is in the same SSID of the smartphone.

I've already tried to reset to factory default the P100.

 

I read on thread https://community.tp-link.com/en/smart-home/forum/topic/643626 that they solved using a beta version of the tapo app.

 

Anyone know where can I find this version of the app?

I ugraded successfully P100 to version 1.5.5.
