Model: Tapo L530B
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.1

I lost connection to all my lights L530 after a 6 hour power outage. The only reason I have these is so that I can set a remote schedule for a seasonal home. All my cameras are fine and back online, as is my smart lock but none of the lights. I can see via the cameras tha the lights are on but they stay on 24/7 now. Without the ability to manually do anything about it, is there a remote solution through the app or otherwise? I have cycled my router on and off? It seems like a serious flaw. How can I get these back online and on a schedule without travelling 700kms to do it in an area that has frequent power outages? Is Tapo not the right company for this situation?

Generally, smart devices will automatically reconnect once power is restored and the router's internet is back up. However, there are rare cases where reconnection to WiFi or the cloud fails. The causes can vary, requiring individual analysis based on the situation.

For issues with device connectivity, restarting is often an effective solution. You can try rebooting the router to see if the bulb can reconnect. If that doesn’t work, you may need someone to help restart the bulb, for example, toggling the circuit breaker at home. If the connection still cannot be restored, this issue will need further investigation, there are currently no other methods you can try remotely.
