Same issues with AX23, EU hardware version v1. Latest firmware 1.1.1 Build 20240822 Rel. 42048(4555) broke easymesh with wireless backhaul, works only with ethernet backhaul. I have two of that routers, easymesh was working perfectly for a year or so, since latest update I can't add sattelite, I tried via web interface, using tether app and WPS, always get an error. I did reset both routers multiple time, lost half a day trying to get it to work. Ethernet backhaul is not an option for me.

EDIT

Downgraded both routers to firmare V1_1.1.0 Build 20230725, everything works again as it should.

You can try adding devices via Ethernet backhaul, and when devices are added, you can disconnect the Ethernet cable and check if satellite devices are able to connect via wireless alone.

If the main router still shows them offline, you check if it shows an IP address for satellite devices and the client list connected to satellites. If that is visible, that means satellites are working. Only you can't manage them from a main router webpage and tether app.

Edit: For me, downgrading the firmware is not an option, and I keep waiting for a fix :)

I've tried that, the moment I disconnected ethernat calbe satellite goes offline with internet led blinking red, and some minutes after doesn't show on satellite list at all.

Hey Kevin, any updates?! About the new beta?

Because it's frustrating, I can't manage satellite devices from outside the local network.

@ChrisBS It appears that the support engineers have sent you a beta firmware to fix the reported issue. Could you please check if you've received it?

Hello, Kevin,

Yeah, I got it, and I just installed and tested it on my second home network. For now works like a charm, but after a whole week, I will give full feedback. :)

By the way, how's going fixing the LED issue with the BE550v1 (EasyMesh Wireless) that I reported a while ago? ^^

@ChrisBS

How is your Archer AX80 (EU) V1 working now with the Beta firmware that support engineers sent you?

As I now have the main router Archer AX73 V2 in Building a EasyMesh Network via Ethernet Backhaul and a couple of pieces of Archer C80 V1 that work as satellites, my plan is to buy one piece of Archer AX80 (EU) V1 and set it to work as the main router, and place the Archer AX73 instead of one Archer C80 to work as a satellite.

So I'm wondering how your Archer AX80 (EU) is working now with the Beta firmware, and is everything fixed that you complained about?

Thanks.
