Easymesh of GE800 with HB710

I'm using HB710 meshed to GE800, which is the main router. When i link both routers togther as a Easymesh, a significant drop in download speed (like 1.5Gbps) while upload speed maintained at 4.5Gbps, was observed.
Both routers are linked by ethernet backhaul.
I did try to run HB710 as AP instead of easymesh, i can get 4.5Gbps for up/download.
Any advice(s)/solution(s) to the big drop in download speed in mesh mode?

Hi @tormont,
Is the HB710 connected to the GE800 via Ethernet cable? Please check the Connection status of HB710 in the Mesh Devices list under the GE800 interface to see if it is indeed Ethernet backhaul, not wireless backhaul? Please take a screenshot.
Which speed test method do you use to test the download speed of the router? It is recommended that you also use iperf to test the speed. Using iPerf to Test Network Speed and Bandwidth. Please send the results here.

Thank you for your reply. Yes i run it via ethernet backhaul. I have confirmed that its a ethernet backhaul through the router admin page. The speedtest was performed using HB710's built-in speedtest found in the router/mesh node admin page.
I will post the screenshoot when i'm back home. I will also perform a iperf speedtest.
