I was wondering what version of OpenVPN is integrated into the Deco.  There has been a new security vulnerability announced for some versions when --tls-crypt-v2 is enabled.  Just curious if the Deco is affected or if TP-Link let us check the versions of 3rd parities that are included in the firmware.

The current version of OpenVPN on Deco is 2.4.11, which does not yet support TLS-crypt-v2, so it should not be affected by CVE-2025-2704.

 

Furthermore, protecting our customers from threats to their security is always a top priority for TP-Link.  Later, we strongly encourage organizations and individuals to directly contact our security team to report any potential security issue for expert assistance: TP-Link Product Security Advisory
